Who They Are: An elfblooded rebel spy, reserved and cautious and devoted to the cause to an extent which borders on zealotry. He's been sent to Riftwatch as an ally and liaison.

Who They Are: rowena's a 17th century scottish witch who, because magic is wonderful, has lived a long (but less-than-wonderful) life. she pretends she's more complicated than she is, loves power, and recently died and became the queen of hell.

What They Want: honestly, staying alive (again) is her main goal. she'd also love to unshackle her magic again, limits suck, but oocly we know it'll never happen. good long research project for her though!

Who They Are: A necromancer from the Necropolis in Nevarra, a mage driven by compassion, kindness, and fear, and his little skeletal companion Curiosity.

Where They've Been: Emmrich's been in Nevarra cleaning up the undead mess, and he's spent most of his life in Nevarra City and the Necropolis. He's traveled a little, but mostly he's been down there teaching and working with the dead, undead, and spirits.

What They Want: He wants to help, teach, encourage, and watch, while not dying.

Plot & CR Desires: Everything. I've apped him because I need more of Emmrich and Bioware won't be giving that to me, so necromancy things, magic things, adventure things, friends, conflict, people who want a skeleson to run tea parties, students, research buddies, all of it.

Anything Else: I'm gonna be introducing Emmrich during the Nevarra plot that's coming up since that makes more sense than him showing up from Nevarra and then whee, right back to Nevarra. Who They Are: A nice young mage! Probably no one important. Definitely not the result of a dark ritual at the end of the last Blight.
Where They've Been: In the last decade, he's spent his time traveling at his mother's side where possible - and living with trusted allies when not. Most of his time has been spent in Orlais and the Marches, but he's seen bits of other countries, as well as plenty of the Crossroads.

If your character was here ten years ago, they might remember Kieran as an NPC living in Kirkwall while his mother worked with Riftwatch. If that's the case, and we haven't already discussed it, please reach out so we can make sure we're on the same page re: what level of awareness of him that was. 😊

What They Want: Honestly, to vibe someplace and have a good time. His goals are far smaller than his mother's - he'd like to travel, do magic in peace, maybe be the witch of some other wilds.

Unfortunately, a continent-spanning war makes this rather more difficult, so he's here to help. Fight a war now, enjoy a long peace - that's his hope.

Plot & CR Desires: At the moment, I'm pretty open to what develops! He's a nice young man whose hair is full of secrets, from "who are your parents" to "why are you so interested in blood magic," and he's slippery about revealing them. If you're interested in Morrigan 2.0: This Time Nicer, I'm sure we can make something interesting happen.

Who They Are: The greatest person you will ever meet. An Emmy-award winning television writer, creator, showrunner, producer, set designer, music editor, principal photography… person, casting director, and actor (just to name a few!). Wanda's the coolest Avenger and the best wearer of red (shade meant @ Stephen), and she is super dorky but also hella weird and off-putting at times.

Where They've Been: Hopping the Multiverse chasing Stephen Strange because he didn't leave a good review of her magnum opus, WandaVision. She's also ??? under rubble ??? I hear it's great for the skin.

Plot & CR Desires: Everything! Wanda will be interested in the magic here, the world and its culture, and how she can help. She'll most likely be trying to keep a low profile for a while and downplay her one million abilities to reduce her threat/lets-worry-about-her-being-a-liability level because That's Smart. The ultimate goal is to get Wanda into a place where she feels like she belongs, she can be helpful, and she has confidence in herself not to be a fuck-up. (Also??? fuck things up???) And have friends??? Girl needs better coping skills.

I'm game to keep TDM threads as canon; otherwise, I'm happy to start fresh. I'm keen to wave my hands at her arriving through the rift, and have her be around for a week or so observing things like a creep.

Anything Else: If you're familiar with Wanda, you know she's OP AF and has some insane powers! While homegirl is nerfed thanks to Thedas, she still has access to a good majority of her ridiculous abilities! One of those is telepathy/mind control! 😁 If you can please let me know if you're up for some telepathy/mind control shenanigans, that would be great, as I will use that to tap you on the shoulder for things. (My preference is to chat with players 1:1, but a permissions post gives me an idea as to what you're up for.)

Who They Are: A Tranquil, recently “ordered” to Riftwatch. Her name may be familiar as a former Ambassador for the Inquisition and Rift Watch.

(just in case: the Tranquil are mages who have been subject to the Rite of Tranquility, severing them from the Fade, their magic and their emotions. Her icons don’t have the sunburst brand on her forehead but shhh let’s pretend.)

Where They've Been:
Starkhaven and White Spire Circles, and being a rebellion nerd around Orlais, way back when.
More recently: serving the Chantry, advocating for mage, rifter and elf rights, annoying more conservative Chantry folk.
In the past month: encountered a group of violent, renegade Templars. It didn’t go well, and she was subjected to the Rite against her will. They ordered her to Riftwatch as a warning/threat.

What They Want: nothing :| she is aware of her obligation to her dog, and so fulfils that responsibility.

She understands and can reason about things that would have been traumatic for her past self, and those she used to care for. In that sense she knows she would not want to cause distress to Cosima and Gwen, especially, but also that her presence is likely to do that inherently, so maybe she’ll idk attempt to step into a closet whenever she sees them. (Not really, but at least once I’d love a really ineffective attempt at not being perceived.)


Plot & CR Desires: Any. All. Reigniting past cr and exploring new cr would be amazing.

Her focus as a Knight Enchanter was being buff and tough, so if exploring where she can be valuable and useful, and if someone without emotions can still be a capable combatant would be interesting. Maybe mastering some fiddly, complicated tasks that help different teams.

Her brand is very recent and def. still healing and suffering from, you know, being a severe burn that wasn’t properly looked after for a stretch, so medical folk that might have seen to patching her up?

I’m totally down for there being plots and plans to reverse the Rite, but my plan is to keep her tranquil for a fair while, so as not to undermine the significance of the Rite. It’s something that would require time, resources, blood sweat and tears etc etc so very much a sloooow burn.

Dismantling dangerous renegade templars (verging on cult energy) as a gradual plot would be rad, pls let me know if you’d like in.

OH also the rogue templars kept her horse, so maybe one day a John Wick rampage to get her horse back.


Anything Else:
Tranquility has the potential to touch on disturbing themes. I haven’t layered additional trauma on top of the murder of the other mages she was travelling with and the Rite itself, however, she does have other past trauma, and the issues around the lack of personal agency could touch on triggering themes for some. There’ll be no hard feelings if you’d rather opt out of stuff with her or avoid particular topics.

Who They Are: he is going to tell everyone that he is Byerly's cousin from Qarinus, but we will see how long he is actually capable of keeping up this deception lmao. in reality, Tavi is the only child and heir to Atticus Vedici's seat in the Magisterium, and he is doing everything he can to keep that knowledge hidden while he tries to figure out where his father went after he left Kirkwall.
Where They've Been: he was born and raised in Qarinus but has spent the last seven years and change in Hunter Fell in Nevarra with his mother.
What They Want: to find his father and have a huge blowout argument to end all blowout arguments, which is a very normal and healthy thing to want.
Plot & CR Desires: i am open to just about everything to be honest! it would be very fun to have Tavi interact with anyone who was around when Atticus was in the game, of course, but Tavi is his own person, and any CR that will give him the chance to distinguish himself is of interest to me. i'm especially keen on opportunities for him to make use of his spirit healing abilities, and embarrass himself in public by being too sincere for his own good.
